Secondary market guidelines are continually monitored to ensure the use of appropriate appraisal forms, addenda and procedures as required by FannieMae, Freddy Mac and FHA/HUD. Special attention is also given to the individual lender’s unique reporting requirements in order to minimize the need for subsequent revisions and addenda requests.

These sources include the Cape Cod & Islands Multiple Listing Service, MLS Property Information Network, Warren Comp Reports, the Barnstable County Registry of Deeds, as well as various other on-line county & municipal data portals.

TECHNOLOGY – Information technology is constantly changing and Barnstable Appraisal Services stays current with most useful tools to meet our clients’ needs. Both hardware and software are regularly updated and we employ the most current appraisal forms and narrative software as well as the latest in data collection, mapping technology and digital photography. Appraisal services may be ordered on-line and completed reports may be delivered electronically as XML or PDF files.

Traditional methods may still be preferable to some clients. Therefore, we gladly provide mailed hard copy reports, as well as fax & phone ordering, if desired.
